Youth Settlement Support Program
We know that as a young person, it can be difficult to transition into a new country.
You might have recently arrived in Australia and if English isn't your first language, then there are many things that you need to know how to do when living here such as opening bank accounts; finding a job; navigating school and more.
Some of the activities you can do at our Youth Settlement Hub Club are:
- Practice English
- Learn about Australia
- Learn new skills
- Make new friends
- Get support with your homework and schoolwork
- Have fun
These programs and activities are designed to help you feel more connected and supported in your local community.
Our Youth Settlement Support Program (offered at our offices in St Albans and Broadmeadows) is dedicated to supporting qualifying young people through case management, identifying their strengths, needs, and providing information, support, and referrals as required.
These programs are designed to enhance the participation, representation, and development of skills, in addition to preventing forms of social isolation.
